The isa – International Summer Academy takes place at the campus of the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna:
Anton-von-Webern-Platz 1
1030 Vienna
The event venues are located directly on the mdwCampus and are accessible without barriers. If you require assistance, please let us know at isa-music@mdw.ac.at. At mdw, our goal is to organize events as accessibly as possible. The Accessibility Check provides an overview of the current status, which we continuously strive to improve.
Further information on accessibility at mdw can be found on our website: https://www.mdw.ac.at/barrierefrei/
Toilets
The main building of the mdw has women’s, men’s, and accessible toilets on every floor. In addition, all-gender toilets are available on several levels. A campus map with details about accessible restrooms and baby changing facilities is shown in the image below.
Wheelchair Rental
In urgent cases, a wheelchair can be borrowed for short-term use on the mdw campus. Please contact the facility staff in Building S (“Alte Anatomie”) at extension -6325.
Waste separation
In the isa course office, waste paper and residual waste are collected separately. Containers for waste paper and cardboard are (also) available at the copiers. In mdw’s hallways you can find waste separation stations for used glass, beverage cans, plastic bottles and residual waste. You can find more information on waste separation here.
Drinking water/ Beverages
Vienna’s drinking water is of excellent quality and can be drawn directly from the pipes. The entire city is supplied with fresh spring water from the Lower Austrian-Styrian Alps.
In line with our efforts to organise the isaMasterclasses as a green meeting, we ask that you only consume drinks from reusable containers if possible.
